Charlie (C.E.) Edward McAdoo, a native of Lebanon, Tennessee, graduated from Philander
Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts, he received his Master of Divinity from St.
Paul School of Theology, a Certification of Christian Education from United Seminary,
and awarded Doctor of Humane Letters from Philander.
He was ordained Elder in 1987 and has served in Arkansas and Missouri as pastor, college chaplain, and campus minister in Kansas City, Marshall and Slater, Missouri and in Arkansas at Center Point, Little Rock, Pine Bluff and Monticello. He served as Superintendent of the Pine Bluff District and the Southeast District prior to his appointment to Village United Methodist Church in July 2006.
He has served on the Board of Methodist Family Health; Arkansas United Methodist Foundation, St. Paul Graduate Council, Church and Community Worker National Advisory Board, Equitable Compensation and numerous Conference Boards. C.E.'s wife, Gloria, is a native of Carlisle, Arkansas. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Philander Smith. C.E. and Gloria have three children, Leron, Charlie II and Madra and three grandchildren.
Yvonne Nipper is the Administrative Assistant to the
Southwest District.
A Certified Church Finance & Business Administrator since 1997, Yvonne completed
her education at Emory University's Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia.
She served as an Administrative Assistant in the local church for 24 years prior
to being employed by the Southwest District.
She is past president of the Local Chapter of Professional Secretaries International and was a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. Yvonne holds memberships in the Arkansas Chapter of the Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries (PAUMAS) and the United Methodist Association of Church Business Administrators.
